[Virginia] Bangla Movie “ROID”- Sunshine

🎬 ROID (রইদ): “Sunshine”

An Exclusive Virginia Screening — For the DC, MD & VA Audience

English subtitles included

By immense popular demand, Bioskope Films and Bangla Events proudly bring Roid to the big screen in Virginia.  From acclaimed director Mejbaur Rahman Sumon — the visionary behind the blockbuster Hawa — comes a breathtaking folk-myth drama, painted in light and loosely echoing the eternal story of Adam and Eve.

In a remote corner of rural Bangladesh, a farmer and his untamable wife live bound by love, fate, and a palmyra palm that simply will not let them part. Every frame unfolds like a living painting — mesmerizing, elemental, unforgettable.  A Rotterdam Tiger Competition selection and the first-ever Bangla film chosen for review on NPR, Roid is a proud milestone for Bangla cinema.
